Conformance Fugitive

Don't follow your dreams...

Our aim, here at Conformance Fugitive, is to give YOU the tools you need to create a life full of happiness and fulfillment.

If you have stumbled across this website, chances are, you have the life you’ve always been conditioned to want… the perfect, steady, safe; job, partner, maybe even house!!  You’ve been through the motions with everybody else… school, college, university, career.  You have the “American Dream”, the ‘perfect’ life – BUT… deep down in your heart, you’re unhappy.

Maybe your job doesn’t quite live up to your expectations of how much freedom you thought you were going to have when you finally reached your dream income level.  Maybe, from the outside, you have a beautiful, loving relationship with your partner – but, in actuality, you know there’s a much deeper disconnection between you both.

Whatever your underlying unhappiness may be, I want to help you uncover it – and to lead you on your path to a more fulfilled life – living on your terms.

Please feel free to comment and get involved in any of the discussions found here on this website.  Let’s build a community of people who are willing to break free from the matrix, to build and create the life the life of their dreams… Let’s run away from conformity, together!!

  6. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s equally educative and interesting,
and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is
an issue that too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy I came across this during my hunt for something relating to this.

  9. Hi Zoe,
Thanks for sharing your adventures with the world. I think its great that you are following YOUR dreams and not those of others. Look forward to your future posts.

    Have a great week.

    • Thank you Lance! =) I guess it’s always easy to follow the path others want you to follow – especially if those others have been your main support system in your life!! As I’m sure you already know, breaking free from that and forging your own path may be more difficult, but it’s also much more fun!! 😉

  10. Hello there Zoe and what an inspiring and thought provoking site indeed. I really appreciate your title of “boycotting conformance to society”…I think we all need to do a little of that to live the life that we truly want.

    Warmest Wishes, Amber

    • Thank you Amber!! I completely agree… although I also realise that soooo many of us also just settle for a mediocre life because we conform!! If I can just help a few break that barrier, I’ll be happy 🙂

  11. All I can say is AWESOME!!!
This is terrific and pretty much states my beliefs also.
Society, is a wonderful and terrific institution, if you’re happy being in an institution, and no disrespect for the majority of people it is great and hey find their balance. for others its not that straight forward! When I speak of not conforming I think people get confused. It means I don’t quite fit the norms expected – I don’t want to be unlawful nor do I wish to necessarily break societies norms for the sake of it but I know on a very spiritual and internal level that if people do not live the life that is true to them or their soul calling they won’t find the happiness they deserve. Every person deserves happiness and as a society we should be encouraging them to explore and seek and be themselves. I spent many years following the rules, great job, career, house, money but it wasn’t right, it didn’t fit. I was happy-ish. Now, and luckily with terrific family and friends, I am leading the path I choose and while it certainly isn’t all smiles and there’s still the lows as well as the highs I can honestly say I’m happy and that will do me. Thank you Zoe for this website and sorry i’ve waffled for a long time!

    • Jason!! You literally mirror my beliefs!! I agree – each to their own… some people are happy with the lives they have – and that’s great (I wish I could be that settled)!! And of course I don’t wish to encourage people to be unlawful or anything like that… I just wish to help people fulfil their dreams if they deem something to be out of place in their life!! 🙂
We’re always happy to hear your “waffling” – always love to hear people’s views and perspectives on things I’ve written!! 🙂 Thank you for sharing!!

  12. Hey Zoe! I love what you are working to achieve here!
it is funny how you can have everything you want and on paper look like you have the perfect life but on the inside things could be far from the truth!
I am looking forward to reading more from you 🙂

    • Cat!! Great to see you here! 🙂
Isn’t it strange?… but I also believe this often comes down to getting comfortable. So many people look to material objects/other people to make them happy, but when everything gets too comfortable, they just get bored (hence why so many marriages fall apart)!! True happiness can be found in their personal pursuits… and, most importantly, in themselves – and, I believe, when people realise this and start chasing after what they really want from life, they’ll realise everything around them will magically improve! 😀
Can’t wait to hear from you again!!

  13. Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it
was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted
and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips and hints
for newbie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

    • I apologise… your comment must have got caught up in my spam filters!! I managed to fish it out this time!!
Thank you – I’m always happy to hear of people enjoying my content… I’m fairly new myself to be honest, but my best tips would be; to just write useful content that you think others would find interesting, encourage your readers to engage with your site and to link your posts up to social media 🙂
      I hope this helps!!

  23. Hie Zoe!

I actually think that life is an endless journey of chasing a dream. I mean, we all have something we want to achieved, don’t we? Even when we reached it, we’ll keep wanting something more and keep chasing it. Maybe that’s where the problem lies. When are focusing too much on reaching our goal that we forgot to take a moment to enjoy what we already have.
It’s important to chase our dreams. And it will be a disaster once we stop moving. But life needs balance. If we can’t find the balanca, we could ruin everything.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

    • Hi Zee!!
I have to agree with you there… finding the balance is absolutely key – a good, healthy mix of security and adventure is the best way to keep moving forward… All security – and life tends to stagnate and people get bored… all adventure – and you can lose touch with your softer, more loving/nurturing side.
I don’t want people to abandon their current lives for a more adventurous, dream filled life – just to help them find/rediscover something they love doing and encourage them to do it… regardless of what others may think!! 🙂

  24. Good post. I learn something new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be interesting to read articles from other authors and use a little something from their websites.

    • Thank you Jona! I hope you learnt something new and found some useful inspiration over here too!! 🙂
